In this edit, I focused on highlighting Sandy's emotions to help make emotional connections with the viewer. I slowed down the pace of things during emotional moments and let the emotions really come through in the story.

Even though this is a Short, I focused on telling the story in an engaging way. I used suspenseful music that keeps the viewer wondering what's going to happen next and I found b-roll clips that help show the winter storm.

I edited this video with Brett's audience in mind. They prefer a slower edit and to really feel like they are coming along on the journey. 

I edited this video to specifically connect with the audience of this particular channel. 

This project features a blend of visual scenery and music that transports the viewer back in time to when cowboys roamed these desert plains. 

Brett, of course is the main focus of this video and the edit allows plenty of space for Brett to tell his stories and make the viewer feel like they are sitting on a mule next to him. 

This video is approaching 200k views, 40k hours of watch time, and has added over 1k subscribers to the channel.

In this edit, I created a hook and then really started to let the story develop and breathe. 

Brett's audience wants to go on the adventure with him and they want to be along for the ride! But, that's not to say I didn't edit for engagement and keep the video pacing well. 

Once the story was put together, I added text, transitions, sounds effects, music, and even some b-roll during Bret's introduction of himself and the channel.

In this edit, I focused on telling the story in an engaging way and using pattern interrupts like custom video graphics, b-roll, framing pattern interrupts, text, sound effects, and anything else I could to keep the viewer engaged and watching to the end of the video.
